About me
Zoe Visser
I am an accredited Foundational Theraplay® Practitioner, accreditation obtained in 2020. I am very passionate about Theraplay®.I am continuously focused on developing my skills further by attending additional training and regular professional supervision.
I am also a fully registered Clinical Social Worker with a Master Degree in Play-based interventions (Specialising in Gestalt Play Therapy) obtained at the University of Pretoria in 2017. I have completed multiple short courses such as Play Therapy, Gestalt Practice Sand Tray Therapy and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy Framework.
I have gained invaluable knowledge and experience while working with children and their families within South Africa, New Zealand and now the United Kingdom. All my experience are with children and families in the areas of attachment, developmental trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, anxiety, ADHD and Autism.
In my personal life I am a wife and mother to an active toddler. I enjoy the outdoors and going on walks with our family dog.
